Hey guys!
We recently got a private message from Proboards letting us know that they're going to force us to upgrade to v5. We've opted out of this until December 31st because we don't have enough time to prepare and are just generally against v5.
The 'new' proboards has completely new coding, is much harder to learn with such little time given and doesn't have the best appearance, either. Research suggests that Proboards hasn't fixed so much as included a lot of stuff that wasn't really needed or asked for.
So, with that in mind we're going to try and get LF looking as good as it does in V5, but at the same time, we've been thinking of converting to jcink. This would allow more flexibility, more options, and it's twice as understandable for us as admins than the 'new' proboards.
And so, we come to the reason why this announcement was made. London's Fallen won't be able to retain any of its current coding, and will end up looking pretty nooby if we use V5. So if we do change over to Jcink, we're going to have to ask all of you how interested you are in joining us over there. And this is what it boils down to:
Will you be joining us on jcink?

^^ What See said. I'm going where the party is at  I've used Jcink before when I was joint admin on another site (with Alice ) It is quite good and flexible once you get the ropes with it. So I am all for it! We don't want LF to lose any of its class. So YES! |
