OVERALL APPEARANCE: Looks were never something Cecilia really thought of as important. Growing up she was always too ginger, too bug eyed, too lanky for her own good. She had glasses, that took up most of her face, and long legs that often left her on the ground. At school she was teased for her habit of blinking nervously all the time, and scrunching up her face when she was talking about something overly complicated. So from a young age, and being teased like a normal child, Cecilia gave up any hope or real care for her appearance. She never wore makeup, or could afford expensive clothes. Once, when she was in middle school she stole a Prada bag off a lady on the bus and wore it to school. But the designer bag looked so out of place against her baggy jeans, and stained shirt she was actually teased more, and gave the bag to her teacher.
That was when she was young however. After she hit puberty, Cecilia got a completely different reaction from people. It wasn't exactly that she could be called beautiful, she was still pretty child-like. But her red hair stopped being so frizzy, her straight long lines developed a slight curve in her hips, and her big eyes and wide smile seemed to be able to talk her way out of most bad situations. A lot of the reason she changed so much was that Cecilia’s odd appearance did her well in her life. Besides her hair, which she usually kept tied back, she wasn't very eye catching, so most people didn't look at her twice. Her long thin fingers were great for slipping into pockets and grabbing a few coins. And she had always been quick on her feet. The more she needed to rely on her god given gifts to get by, the more people seemed to compliment her and admire her looks. Those skills she gained from her daily life before the zombies came, actually helped her survive both as an outsider, as now as a scavenger.
Cecilia stopped trying to so hard to look like other girls and as she grew up and relaxed, her off habits faded away. She became calm and bubbly, and her appearance reflected that. From the age of fifteen and up her wardrobe hasn't really changed much. It’s very cheap, and worn looking. Cecilia, on the streets, tends to wear over sized jeans, baggy shirts that are often torn and dirty. She always wear flannel or a jacket on top, simply because it’s easier to stuff food, or clothes under her open jacket. She doesn't like jewelry, she fears it will get caught on something and keep her from running away. None of this means that Cecilia won’t clean up when she needs to, or wants to. She looks a bit off and awkward in dresses or in make up, but she’s a girl who likes to feel fancy every now and then.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
-Sneaky. It isn’t hard to say that Cecilia can get away with a lot of things when she wants to. She’s quiet not just in physical movement, but in personality. When she doesn’t want something to be known about her, it won’t.
-Friendly. There isn’t a mean spirited bone in her body. Cecilia is always smiling at strangers, and shaking their hand. She doesn’t insult people, not even in a playful way. She’s the kind of girl who will watch every word she says carefully, to avoid offending anyone.
-Light Hearted. Nothing is serious to Cecilia. Every mean comment someone makes, or ever serious decision she is faced with she interpretes in the most casual and simple way she can. She doesn’t like to have things weighing down on her, and making things complicated.
-Playful. Cecilia loves to laugh. She’ll joke, dance, or wrestle her way to pull a chuckle out of anyone around her. She can make anything a game, and often annoys people who are actually trying to get things done.
-Calm. Cecilia doesn’t get angry, ever. She’s a very level headed girl usually, who even though she has a jovial nature, doesn’t let her emotions get the best of her.
-Thrifty. From her entire childhood of being dirt poor, Cecilia can get by on very little. Or better yet, learn to do without. She can reuse more things around her and make them useful. Though most of her thriftiness comes from her pick-pocketing.
-Loving. Hate is a feeling that she is very unfamiliar with. Cecilia cares about other people deeply, and respects them. She physically cannot walk by someone who looks upset and not try her best to make them feel better.
-Adventurous. Cecilia is rarely scared of new areas or new challenges. She takes them head on, and gets very proud when she’s discovered something new. She doesn’t say no to experiences.
-Wary. While things rarely scare her, Cecilia is often uncomfortable around new people. It’s not exactly that she is shy, she can just be slightly untrusting. Maybe it has something to do with that fact that no one in their right mind should trust her, but Cecilia is always afraid that people are going to take what is hers.
-Innocent. Cecilia knows very little about the real world. On top of that, she’s never been kissed, she was always too busy to think about relationships or the world. Cecilia knows very little, making her a tad innocent.
-Intelligent. Cecilia isn’t book smart. She knows nothing of history or math, but she is however amazing quick at learning. She picks things up and figures out things very well. She understands people much better than most.
-Liar. Being a thief has made her very good at lying. She can talk up and excuse, and bullshit her way out of most situations. She’s good at lying, she lies without much thought or guilt.
-Anxious. Probably because of her constant lying, Cecilia is a bit nervous and jumpy. She’s always afraid that people are going to find out about her stealing.
-Gentle. In almost everything she does, she is subtle and soft. This trait comes out in her voice, her touch, her smile. She is never rough or aggressive.
-Forgettable. While she is kind and fun to be around, Cecilia prides herself in being forgettable. It seems that on first glance, and first meeting she makes very little of an impression. People look over her, and forget she is around. It has made things much easier for her in the long run.
-Determined. Cecilia isn’t one to give up, however. When she wants something bad enough, or needs something, it will get done. There are very few lines she won’t, or hasn’t crossed to better herself, or keep herself fed.
-Independent. Cecilia has taken care of herself for a long time, and she’s good at it. She never relies on other people, or even leans on them. She likes doing things by herself, and getting things for herself.
-Lonely. Her life and left her very isolated. Through stealing, and starving, and keeping everyone at a distance so they don’t see what’s she’s really up to, Cecilia doesn’t have many friends. None of her family made it past the apocalypse, so Cecilia is very much alone. But young girls like her to crave company.
-Patient. Cecilia will wait for that she needs to get. She doesn’t mind sitting back and watching for long periods of time, until the perfect moment to act.
-Feisty. Cecilia won’t do anything she doesn’t want to do without a fight. She won’t go quietly, or calmly and more than that she hates to sit still.

COMPLETE HISTORY: Cecilia was born in London to a pretty loving family, though an unconventional one. Her mother had her at fifteen, and still lived with her mother who was also a single mom. Her mother and grandmother didn’t have a very simple life. They were both recovering drug addicts when Cecilia was born, but they were both on the right track. The two ladies raised Cecilia after their own heart, having one of the happiest babies anyone could imagine. From the youngest age Cecilia was always finger painting, and drawing on the walls. It was a very free house, with little rules. Cecilia was always blissfully ignorant of her mother and grandmothers acts, but their sobriety didn’t last for long. By the time Cecilia started kindergarten, she was living in a drug house. Her mother and grandmother were horrible influences on each other, and eventually their use lend to her mother’s death.
Being as young as she was, Cecilia hardly remembers the funeral, and had no concept of why her mother was gone. But her attention focused more on her grandmother who was in a horrific downward spiral, this time without heroin. Losing her daughter did something to the aging lady, who stopped working, taking care of herself, and in a few years got sick. Her lungs quickly failed, her muscles were weak and sore, but more than that she fell into a depression that nothing seemed to get her out of. So there was Cecilia, going into middle school, with a guardian who no longer had an income. Cecilia had always been very independent, and having strung out care-takers made her good at taking care of things for herself. She remembers the first time she stole. She was waiting for the bus after school, sitting on a bench. Her stomach had been growling all day, since the quarters in her pocket only bought her a milk at lunch. A lady came and sat next to her. She was very distracted on her phone, and her purse sat open, inches away from Cecilia. Her quick movements, and long fingers quickly slide inside her wallet and stole her cash. Cecilia hadn’t had a better meal in years.
After that it was the only way Cecilia managed to get by. She told her grandmother that she got a job, and instead became one of the better pickpockets on the street. She’s gotten caught only once, by a shop owner who found a loaf of bread tucked under her arm. His phone was ready to call the police, but Cecilia slick talking and sweet face made him sympathetic and he let her leave. Cecilia became pretty well known among the streets and her few friends weren’t exactly the best influence on her. Cecilia was always content just people watching, and waiting for the right chance to steal. Taking from people because something that she didn’t just do to eat, she did it for fun. It was something she was really good at, and nothing beats that rush.
Just for everyone, her peaceful life didn’t last very long. Eventually the monsters came Cecilia was unaware of the situation until it was too late. Until the city was almost overrun. But Cecilia managed to survive a lot longer than most. Her grandmother she knew was the first person Cecilia knew who died. She was also the first zombie to attack her. Cecilia was on her way home with a few pounds for dinner that night, when her undead grandmother, her last relative, tried to kill her. Cecilia’s fast movements made it easy for her to get away. She ran from their apartment, and started hiding out in a basement of a cafe, very out of the zombie’s eye. It wasn’t the Cecilia wasn’t afraid, she lived for the next few months in complete terror. Watching more and more familiar faces became undead and hungry. She still managed to stay life herself somehow. If someone managed to get back into the basement they’d probably find a room filled with odd little finger painting, and a mess of books around the floor.
Cecilia lived as an outsider for at least a few months, she doesn’t know the exact amount of days but it felt like a lifetime to her. There weren’t people to steal from anymore, and most of the shops were looted or full of zombies. Cecilia found that the most annoying part of trying to get by was the Scavengers who showed up and took her few resources. Cecilia started to become more aware of the Safe Lands, but still feared it for the loud noises it’s defense made, and the fact that their Scavengers were making her starve. Cecilia, instead of joining them, found it much easier to follow them. She’d hear their guns, and yelling and come out of her cave. She’d use her skills to grab food and supplies off their truck, or out of their pockets when she could. It was much harder than stealing from normal citizens. Cecilia knew if they saw her, they would most likely shoot. She was pale, and close to dead looking herself. This only was able to go on for a week or two before she got caught. One of them saw her grabbing food off the truck, and trying to run away. They knew she wasn’t a zombie, obviously she was going for human food, but they still managed to sit her down and talk to her. They convinced her to come back with them, and her skills made her a pretty perfect fit for a Scavenger herself. So, Cecilia is still as easy-going as ever, now she just feels a bit safer. She still managed to pocket a few things for herself, both from the town, and from her comrades. Old habits rarely die. /font]
