OVERALL LOOKS| Lexi has long, dark brown hair that falls in loose waves over her shoulders, framing delicate features. Her golden brown eyes – framed with thick dark lashes- are a perfect contrast to her pale skin and often harbour an element of sadness. She has a tiny white scar just underneath her left eye after falling over her unconscious uncle and hitting her face on the corner of the mantle piece.
Standing at five feet five inches and weighing around one-hundred and fifteen pounds, Lexi is a very slight girl. Her body structure is generally well toned. She is slim, but not underweight, with pale skin. Most would describe the twenty year old as average.
Lexi has two types of clothing choices. When in the Safe Lands and working in the garden she can most commonly be found wearing brightly coloured tops with jeans or shorts. When not working in the garden she takes the comfprtable approach and opts for leggings. If she ever ventures past the barrier tends to steer away from the brighter clothes and sticks to the darker tones and jeans. She opts for layers in the hope that if anything grabs her it will reduce the risk of her getting infected.
With regards to body art, Lexi never really experimented much. She has no tattoos and her earlobes are pierced only once. She hardly ever wears make-up, not just because it is difficult to get these days, but because she has never really had much need or interest in it.

OVERALL PERSONALITY| The three words that would best describe Lexi are driven, determined and focused.
She is quiet and reserved, with a compelling interest to understand how and why things work.
Once she sets her mind on something, she will be sure to follow through with it right to the very end. She is good at logical analysis, and likes to apply it on practical matters. If she cannot apply something practically, she generally tends to lose interest in it. She likes to take things apart and pick at them until she has figured out how it works. She has strong technical skills and a great ability to focus on the smallest of details.
She is an adventurous spirit that thrives on action. Stick her behind a desk and she’s likely to go insane through boredom. She’s a risk-taker of sorts, adaptable and spontaneous, she lives in the moment. She’s very athletic and constantly on the go. This sense of adventure and desire for constant action make it difficult to follow rules and regulations that aren’t her own.
This girl is fiercely independent and spends a lot of time alone (not that she doesn’t like the company of others). She needs this time to unjumble her thoughts and piece things together. She feels that judgments and decisions should be made impartially, based on the facts and not on personal opinion, or based on another’s influence. This being said, she has no time for, or interest in gossip.
She is a very patient individual, although sometimes prone to rash emotional outbursts of anger when something doesn’t go according to plan.
She is not naturally ‘tuned in’ to how others are affected by her and she can, on occasion, be waspish and honest to the point of brutality.
In short, she is optimistic, full of good cheer, loyal, generous and trusting of others and is not overly concerned with respecting laws and rules if they get in the way of getting something done. She is detached and analytical, not fond of distractions and excels when it comes to finding solutions to practical problems.

OVERALL HISTORY| On June 13th 1991, Alexis Jasmine Fletcher was born, the second child of loving parents, Steve Fletcher, a painter and decorator and Clare Fletcher, a florist. The four of them were a perfect little family, happy and content with life. But this perfect little family was soon to come to an end. Lexi never got the chance to know her parents, at just 7 months old, disaster struck when her parents were killed in a tragic car accident after a taxi driver fell asleep behind the wheel. Steve was killed instantly, Clare, a few hours later in the hospital. James and Lexi were left with just each other, and Clare’s brother Colin, a waste of space alcoholic who offered the youngsters nothing more than a leaky roof.
James was seven years old when he started taking care of his little sister and as the years went on, they grew very close. They only had each other after all.
Shortly after Lexi turned eleven her brother joined the Royal Engineers and the young girl was devastated. But she understood that it was something he felt he needed to do. He promised her he’d be back as often as possible. And he was, always bringing her stories and little gifts. He was always sure to be back for her birthdays and even taught her a thing or two about self-defence. From this, her interests developed largely in combat and she took up junior kickboxing and mixed martial arts, something she has both excelled in and stuck with ever since. This new found love of hers only grew and she took on more activities, both in school and out, becoming one of the most active and athletic kids in the neighbourhood.
When Lexi was thirteen and her brother was on his first tour in Afghanistan her uncle finally did a disappearing act, leaving her completely alone. Yet she was still always on time for school, always dressed in clean clothes and fed as best she could manage, nobody suspected a thing. In the 4 months she was living alone, she really learned how to fend for herself and focused hard on her studies. Her uncle showed up from time to time, but he never stayed long. She wanted nothing more than to get away from this place and she knew that with sheer determination and focus, she could leave school and do just about anything.
Then her brother arrived home in time for her fourteenth birthday and was shocked that she had been living alone, at which point he got them both a little flat in Croydon, not too far from his colleague’s parents home, making it a little bit easier for him to watch over her. Lexi continued with her hobbies, competing in and winning several championships. She continued to excel at school, mostly in the practical classes where she had the ability to work with her hands, taking things apart and putting them back together. After school, she enrolled at a local college study AS levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, followed by a Forensic science course, studying just as hard as she had at school.
Shortly after completing the two year course, Jimmy went out for his second tour in Afghanistan and Colin reappeared looking for a place to stay. She tried to put it off for as long as she could, but family is family and eventually (after passing him in shop doorways several times) she felt sorry for him, caved and let him stay. For a few months, uncle Colin came and went as he pleased until one day he just didn’t come back. She didn’t think anything of it as he would disappear for days at a time. That was until all the crazy stories came out about people disappearing off the streets. Followed by the hoards of people that she initially thought were just insane. She watched as peoples lives were thrown into turmoil, as friends and neighbours were ripped to shreds. She waited as long as she could in the hope that her brother would make it back before stuffing as much as she could into a backpack and setting off in search of the living. She managed to survive on her own for the first few weeks, squeezing into small gaps and eating the small amounts of food she’d grabbed from the flat until she found herself in the Safe Lands.
