Gahh why does he continue to harass her with his smooth words and flirty looks. She should have seen it coming that he would not leave her alone like he had somewhat said. She was too good when it came to reactions because of her innocence and naivety on the subject and situation. Why couldn't somebody come and save her from the man who was now trying to work his way in, if only Howl or Melissa would show up and drag her away so that she no longer had to deal with the harassment of Marvin. She tried to think of it as good that she was having a lot of attention from a man, which had not been often at all in her life so far. Then again she wasn't really finding that it had worked for her and her face would still stop traffic just like her hair would "Will you stop please?" she asked in an embarrassing tone wanting him to stop with the tone of his voice being so flirty it was making her slightly uncomfortable.
She was slightly confused at the statement about guys missing out on her because of her red hair. She always got bullied in school because of the fact that her hair was a fire like red, maybe things change when you grow up a little more. Then again it still confused her and she was curious as to why he was so in to the hair. Although what he added to his little sentence made her yet again like a traffic cone "I w-wouldn't know!" she blurted out with no thought as to what she had just said. She quickly tried to find a way to change what she had said "I-I'm pretty s-s-sure it's false." she added hoping that he did not pick up on what she had said the first time or she really was in for it. She although thought that he ought to put that drink down for a while because she didn't know how much he could handle and how long it would take before he started doing some more stupid things with the drinks encouragement, that and the fact she didn't know how to handle a drunk man she was dreading the moment that he crossed the line.
OOC: where is motoke when you need her?!

GONNA KEEP IT MOVIN' WILD.... I'M A REAL WILD CHILD.
Poor girl was getting embarrassed. If only Marvin had an ounce of decency he would have drawn to a halt by now. But he didn't have that decency to stop. He was being unintentionally mean, as Marvin believed he could give the girl a confidence boost and a round of compliments. "Woops, sorry," he grinned at her, apologizing through words but not being entirely genuine. She was too easy to harass. She just seemed to take it and just blush as a result. In the pst Marvin had had a few smacks to the face due to his obnoxious, rude behaviour. He doubted Jessie would lash out at him that way. Though, he could still be surprised for he had only just met her. "Am I really embarrassing you? I don't know what you can be so embarrassed about," he chipped in, honestly thinking that his comments were closer to harmless than mortifying for the poor girl.
Mouth opened with surprise, amusement so evident on his expression. "Ohhhh really?" He almost sung out teasingly. Though it appeared the girl was saying things she did not mean, by trying to correct herself. "Well guess you don't know these things until you try it Goes for everything I guess." Marvin spoke, somehow deliberately becoming more vague about what they were talking about, rather than focusing on one specific thing. "I'm a thrill seeker myself," he mentioned, finally reaching up and pulling his hat off to let some air get to his head. He had been heating up these past few minutes, a thin layer of sweat glossing his forehead. Hand brushed over the skin of his forehead, cleaning the sweat off. His hair, although bouncy by style, had flattened under the prolonged pressure of his hat. Marvin often looked different without his hat. Some say he looked better, some say he looked worse as he lacked that style that defined him. "Boy it's hot in here," he mumbled. "I was alright not so long ago until you came in. Maybe your hair generates heat or something," Marvin joked rather lamely. He balanced the inside of his hat with his finger, twirling it around, fidgeting with it as he looked to Jessie again.

Jessie would have been more suprised if his words actually held. She knew it was not going to be the end of it there and then. She had pretty much just figured out the type of guy that he was. A flirter who enjoyed attacking the innocent looking ones and trying to get a reaction out of them which he had quite frankly done with her, even without breaking a sweat although now that she looked she could see a slight gleam to his darker features, he was probably just warm. It was suprisingly warm in the building now but she guessed it was because the sun had come out and was shinning right in to where they where sitting against the other wall. She looked at him rather confusingly when he mentioned not knowing why she was embarrassed... How did he not know? Was he just stupid or naive himself "I'm n-not really c-comfortable with 'flirty t-t-thing.'" She said quickly, oh great her stutter was getting even worse now that she was telling him why she was in so much discomfort. Life really did hate her. What had she managed to do in a previous life which made everything in the entire world stack up against her?
Gah there was that sweet singing little voice. It was able to keep the soft colour on her cheeks, it was not like a neon traffic cone any longer but was still bad enough to be seen from a few meters away. Whatever he said to her she tried to ignore as a way of calming herself down, for the colour on her cheeks as well as the stutter that she was battling with. Couldn't he tell as well as him making her uncomfortable and pretty tense she despised her stutter with all her ginger might which then lead to her feeling stupid about herself and getting herself down in the process, could he not drop it for five seconds? The only sentance she had really listened to had to mention 'thrill seeking' she really didn't want to go in to what that could mean for different types of topics. She probably didn't have the stomach for that. She managed to calm down when he also mentioned it being hot. Maybe she could curve the conversation of the flirting. Ginger jokes she could handle, sex jokes? Oh hell no. "I h-hear it can do that." she said trying to use as much sarcasum as the little ginge could muster.

GONNA KEEP IT MOVIN' WILD.... I'M A REAL WILD CHILD.
Lips formed a slight 'o' shape when Jessie brought it to the open she didn't like his behaviour. "Oh right, okay," he said softly and a little flatly like he had regretted going too far, though he did not apologise. Marvin rarely apologised to anyone, not unless the believed he really caused harm or it was some sarcastic apology to piss the other off. He did feel a little bad about it, for she had to be have been one of the meekest, quietest and most innocent girls he had ever encountered. Maybe Jessie was starting to be a new learning curve for him. However, he was still up for some fun. Thankfully for her he had opted to calm himself for now. A deep breath escaped from him in one rush. "Each to their own I guess." He was a bit disappointed, but he had to calm it a bit.
It was possibly the weather that had triggered his sweat attack. These summer months had carried with it muggy, sticky weather. Gross. The joke about her hair was just conjured up from the top of his head, hence why it was a bit on the lame side. Marvin didn't remark further on it vocally, however he did giggle. Lips were curled into a rather elated smile as he continued to revolve the hat around his finger like a fast vinyl record. "Don't worry, you're not the only one that gets comments on their hair," he actually admitted. Marvin had admitted something to the girl he would not usually say to anyone. His own hair had grabbed attention from others, simply because he sometimes styled it into a pompadour if he had the time. Otherwise he just pulled the hat on.
Eyes were focused on the rotation of his hat. Marvin was trying to get it to spin as fast as he could without losing control of it. It was going at a good speed, but not for long. The hat began to wobble on the tip his finger, and it eventually took off, heading in the direction of Jessie like a frisbee. Well done Marvin. "Woops," he said. It bumped Jessie's leg and skated across the floor for a few inches. He hated losing his hat. It made him paranoid when it was out of his grasp or even reach, but seeing he was with a girl like Jessie, he thought it was in safe hands. He really didn't think she would run away with it or anything.

Jessie took a large breath when he seemed to realise that his behaviour had put her off a little bit and had somewhat made it quite an uncomfey environment to be in with just the two of them, with other people around she would har been fine, she'd of just slipped away in to the background like she could oh so easily. Only to be noticed again by her hair. When it was just her and somebody else it was a lot harder to ninja her way out of the place, unless they fell asleep or where so drunk she could convince them to play hide and seek... Then hide extremely well. She was good at that too, hiding. The only thing that got her caught was yet again the hair. Now she really was thinking of dying it a different colour... But then again she would back out after a little while... She was far too attached. When he mentioned his hair she couldn't help but look at it... More stare at it, she thought it was a lot better looking than hers, and it was pretty much covered when he had his hat on "At least yours doesn't stop traffic." she said a little sarcastically. She had never actually stopped traffic although she had been asked if she had several times, mosty by men now she came to think of it.
Jessie had watched as the hat span faster and faster around his hand, she had been told it was quite easy to do although the short ginger had never given it a try for fear of it launching itself across one end of the room and out a window never to be seen again. From the look of it Marvin had done it a few times before and was considered in her eyes experienced therefore she trusted him with it as it it faster and faster. Maybe that was her mistake and when the hat came flying in her direction to bump her leg he squeaked slightly, not because it hurt at all simply because she was not expecting it, the ginge didn't web try to catch it, she was the most uncoordinated 21 year old girl the world had ever known and would has just made a huge flapping fool of herself if she tried. Instead she leaned over, her hands on the floor as she reached for the hat. Snagged it in one of her small hands and returned to her upright sitting position. The material of the hat felt nice and smooth, looked after quite well from her perspective. She looked at Marvin... Who looked a little like a kicked puppy and realised it was probably because of the hat in her lap, she lifted it up and handed it in his direction "it's a nice hat." she said softly.

GONNA KEEP IT MOVIN' WILD.... I'M A REAL WILD CHILD.
A giggle sounded from him. That little comment amused him greatly for it was a funny image. "Bet you cause a lot of car accidents with that," Marvin mumbled, barely even making eye contact with her. Bless. "If I let it grow, my hair would just turn into a massive afro, and that way I won't be able to wear my hats." Marvin's giggles died down, for he was actually being serious about that. Though he assured himself that he would never look like a dork. "If I had an afro, apparently I would look like one of the Jackson 5. I'd be a right badass." he bobbed his head, teeth nipping his bottom lip.
Marvin watched the red head as she retrieved his hat. He half expected her to try it on, which was what most people appeared to do, and in honesty he was disappointed when she just let it rest on her lap. "Thanks. I managed to keep a couple of them, though before the outbreak I had loads." Marvin boasted lightly. He actually missed the selection he had. The boy had hats to accessorize any occasion, any outfit. They were all that same shape, and only differed in colour. "So, if I lose anymore I won't be a very happy bunny." Marvin continued. Not a happy bunny? More like completely pissed off judging by the boy's nature. His guitar was another treasure of his, though it's upkeep had proven to be a nightmare as of late. Guitar strings were not exactly the most popular item for people to go scavenge for. So he had to sweet talk scavengers into a deal to bring him strings back.
When Jessie handed it in his direction, he stretched across, finally making an effort to fetch his hat back. Marvin pulled it over his head, slanting it until it felt right, snugly pushing down his dark puffy hair. Once more he grabbed his guitar, placing it on his lap and began to retune the strings one by one. "Got any plans for the rest of the day, Dollface?" He looked in her direction sneakily. Right enough, his silly little antics had calmed a bit, but nothing was going to stop him from calling her that rather affectionate nickname he had given her. The strings warped into different notes as he twisted the pegs of his guitar. "If I can get this thing back into standard tuning I would play you another song, if you'd like." Marvin just wanted to take the opportunity to impress the girl further by chiming out more songs. Perhaps a ballad or a love song - that was bound to get her lit up again. He grinned to himself at the thought of it. Good plan.

Jessie smiled softly "None so far." she said, she hadn't even stopped any cars let alone made them crash... or at least she had hoped that she had not but now it was in her head and maybe she had oh no now she was over thinking things again and he was going to see the puzzled and somewhat terrifed look on her face like an idiot she was thinking about hurting somebody through the colour of her hair before she mentally slapped herself out of it and told herself that it was stupid and that it would never happen so she might as well calm down and forget that they had even had the conversation. Instead she turned to whatever they where going to talk about next, from her moment of worry she had lost the topic of conversation so was hoping that he was going to pick it up with something different and not worry her even more about cars and hair colours. The conversation was still on hair but this time his hair, which she was a lot more happy with. She could imagine him with an afro, it was supprisingly easy to do so and she chuckled at his comment on the jackson five, maybe he was a little bit short for one of the brothers who where tall or normal sizes. Not like she could say anything she only wanted to agree for fear of him turning back to harassing her with sexual comments "Yeah... I t-think you would." she put on one of her cute little smiles once again just to back up the quite weak reply.
She know knew for a fact that he was quite attatched to the hat that he had, it was probably to hide the hair so that if it grew there would be some protection from the hilarity of it being a big poofy afro. That and they where quite stylish, Jessie never really had a hat. Or more one that she thought fit her and her hair. A lot of them looked too small and her hair looked even bigger and worse in her opinion, some of the others where too big for her small face and just made her look herself in the thing but he seemed to have found the hats that showed of his features quite nicely and she understood why he would be upset at loosing any more. It would probably be hard to find a nice looking hat out when you where scavenging, they where usualy light pieces of clothing so easily fell to the floor and got trampled leaving them not the most desirable of attire.
Jessie watched him as he began to softly almost pet his guitar, testing the strings etc. Jessie didn't have a clue how to do those sorts of things she was only a dancer and only had knowledge on the beats and instruments involved in the music that she used to use. She still had a little blush at the nickname, but less so than the first few times he decided to call her by it. She had to think about having anything to do... at the moment she didn't think she did. She had already been out today scavenging and there was no other jobs that needed doing... or more so any jobs that she would be able to help with "Not that I can think off." she replied softly "W-What about you?" she asked almost shyly, although didn't know why she had a right to know as she had not denyed him answer to his own question. She smiled... the brightest that she had since she got here and started talking with him, another song sounded great, she would have probably listened to him play all day if she could have done "That would be lovely."

GONNA KEEP IT MOVIN' WILD.... I'M A REAL WILD CHILD.
Marvin didn't have plans for the day. Actually, he was just being a lazy so-and-so and putting off chores until he had to do them. That was the Marvin Sully way. He took care of his wants more than anything else, always tending to the pleasure before the chores. Furthermore, he was a spoiled brat who had his parents running after him when he was younger. Softly he chewed his lip. "Nah, not really," he answered Jessie. "I might just fart about all day." Meaning, just loaf about like the lazy sod that he was. Marvin then chuckled gently when he realised what he had just said. "I mean, not literally fart about. That would be gross." Why was he saying this? Maybe to add some humor but the subject of 'farting' was no way to please the ladies. Toilet humor was gross. Though some women did laugh at it. he wondered if Jessie would do the same.
He couldn't help but notice the bright smile across her features. Bless. Music did brighten people's day up. Marvin knew of this. At least he had the talent to be entertaining to others, which was probably his most treasured quality. Onstage he was quite a likable guy, though backstage, he was just plain rude, narcissistic Marvin. Fingers settled on the cold steel of the strings, testing each of them for tuning. He then rung out a clear 'E' to confirm it was tuned correctly. Screw guitar tuners. Marvin had broken his last one after spilling Jack and Coke on it, but manually tuning the guitar was the way to go. Furthermore, it impressed people. It was a talent to be able to do that. He then strapped the capo onto the sixth fret, to make the sound higher in pitch. Fingers made a squeaking sound against the strings as he played the first few chords, strumming soft and light. He then progress into the main riff, watching his fingers as he tackled them. It was Damien Rice's 'Cannonball' Marvin remembered learning this song. It took him some time to master the hand movements, but he had practiced it long enough to play it well.
Expression was bright as he listened to the sound of his own music. "Know this one?" He asked Jessie, still playing the intro. He only glanced at the girl quickly, before he had to watch the deft movement of his hands again. With a mellow voice he began to sing, foot tapping off the hard surface of the floor. "If you know the words sing along with me," he chipped into his own singing, glancing at the girl. Even if she didn't, he would enjoy just performing for her. Thing was, Marvin would perform for anyone.

Jessie laughed a little. It was one of the hold saying that she was used to as many people where she had come from tended to use it quite often as the expression for doing nothing all day other than lazying around eating and sleeping as well as a few other unmentionable things. She nodded as if she said she understood as she tried to calm her laughing which had been quite enthusiastic and loud for the small ginger girl "I understand what you mean" she managed to get out I between her giggling before she the. Concentrated on stopped for fear of being rude to him and not listening like a good little person would, or in her own mind that was how it worked anyway in the normality of the situation it was 'if I don't like what your talking about I'm just going to casually walk away like nothing happened' but all in all Jessie would never have the heart to do something like that to anybody no matter what the did or how they spoke to her. The only real time she would run for the kills was if somebody seemed to be physically violent in her direction. Then you really would see the ginger run a mile as they said.
Jessie grinned like a cheshire cat when he began to play again, it really was music to her ears in a literal and physical sence and she loved it, she knew the time to the song and seen enough her fingers where drumming and one of her feet was tapping against the solid floor in time with the music, she had no idea what the words where... She never was any good and picking them up she was much more at home with the beat being played in the song but that was just her. When he asked her to sing along if he knew the words she shook her head with a flush of embarisment at the fact she didn't have a clue and hoped that it would not put him off his stride all that much.
